Great meat & veggies! This place is small on space but big on taste! My family and I have eaten here many times even though it is a bit out of our way. Countryside is one of THE best places to get a “home cooked” kind of meal. The chicken and dressing is delicious and the fried chicken tenders are hands down the best I have ever eaten!!! Other greats include the meat loaf and mac & cheese. The okra is the best I have ever eaten out, it is like my grandmother used to cook- hand breaded and fried…not like most places where you get the standard little round puff of heavily breaded frozen okra! Their sweet tea is awesome too! This place fills up fast and often has lines out the door so keep that in mind when you decide to go.

These guys have been a staple to the area for years and you can still get the same taste for half the price, for instance you can get a bacon cheeseburger for only 4.50. The burgers are so big the waitress may ask if you need a FORK!! Big burger, lots of onions, tomatoes. This is a local favorite. DRIVE HERE! It is a little shack of a building on the corner. Seating for maybe 12 people. One of my top five burgers.
